Our standard
We process only data we are legally permitted to process and use for the purpose of introducing businesses to potential customers. Where we cannot establish that permission for a source, we do not use the source.
We deliberately do not claim that our data is "100% legal" or "fully compliant everywhere". Those claims are unverifiable in the abstract. What we can describe is the standard we hold ourselves to and the controls we operate, which is what follows.
Sourcing
- Every imported record retains its provenance: the source file, the import run, and the row number within it. Nothing enters the database anonymously.
- Each source is reviewed before import for permitted use, and records are traceable back to it if a question arises later.
- Records are validated on import — email syntax, duplicates, country consistency — and rejected rows are reported rather than silently dropped.
- Raw source values for category, state and city are preserved alongside the normalised values, so a mapping decision can always be reviewed.
Market separation
India, USA and Europe data are held in separate database tables. A campaign targeting one market can only ever draw from that market. Importing a file into the wrong market is blocked when the country data disagrees with the selected market.
What we do not do
- We do not sell, license or export the database.
- We do not give advertisers bulk access, a download, or an enumeration API.
- We do not tell advertisers how many records exist for any category, state or city.
- We do not show contact details for anyone who has not engaged with the advertiser’s campaign.
- We do not knowingly hold records of individuals who have asked to be removed.
Removal
- A hard bounce or spam complaint suppresses the address platform-wide, immediately and permanently.
- An unsubscribe suppresses the address for that advertiser.
- Anyone can ask to be removed through the Customer Data Request page. We verify the request and then act on it.
- Suppression records survive deletion of the underlying record — otherwise we would lose the memory of the removal and could re-add the person from a later import.
Review
Sources, mappings and retention are reviewed periodically by the operator. This policy is versioned, and material changes are published here with a new effective date.
